Huminology (huminology.com) provides an AI-powered resume analysis and phone-based interviews to evaluate candidates efficiently at scale. We run both first-round screens and deep technical interviews that normally require a hiring manager or subject matter expert. The result is a faster, more consistent evaluation process that helps companies quickly identify and move their best candidates forward. Candidates interview on their own schedule or on-demand. Companies benefit from less repetitive top of funnel work, drastically reduced time-to-decision, and higher quality hires.
The Business Development Representative / Account Executive is responsible for driving new business for Huminology’s AI Interviewing platform. You will identify, engage, and close new clients who are looking to modernize and scale their candidate screening process. This role owns the entire sales cycle—from prospecting to demo to close—and ensures a successful hand-off into onboarding.
You’ll execute a targeted outbound strategy, leveraging industry relationships, personalized outreach, and product expertise to get in front of decision makers in HR, Talent Acquisition, and hiring leadership roles. You must be comfortable driving your own pipeline, articulating a modern AI product in clear business terms, and closing a high volume of subscription deals across SMB to enterprise accounts.
This is a startup sales role: high autonomy, high accountability, and high upside. You will help shape our go-to-market motion as one of the earliest sales hires, working directly with the founder to refine messaging, pricing, and the repeatable sales process. You’ll help define the sales strategy, messaging, and process as the company scales.
Base Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 On-Target Earnings (OTE): $140,000 – $150,000 at 100% quota attainment, with uncapped commission and strong accelerators above target Equity: Stock option grant in Huminology Commission Structure: Paid 50% at contract signing and 50% after six months of customer retention Benefits: Standard benefits are planned in the near future. In the meantime, this role offers meaningful upside through uncapped commission and equity participation.
