Huminology is extending its AI interviewing system globally, with native support across 18 languages.

This announcement brings structured, AI-powered first-round interviews and resume assessments to hiring teams worldwide—now available in the language they already use to evaluate candidates.

“We’re focused on making advanced interviewing systems accessible to hiring teams everywhere, not just in English-first environments, with an excellent candidate user experience,” said Daniel Chak, CEO of Huminology. “Our AI interviewing system now speaks 18 languages, making it relevant globally as well as for multilingual local teams.”

This is a step change in accessibility and capability that enables mixed-language use cases in addition to global use. A Canadian company can conduct interviews in both English and French to support local language requirements. A bilingual customer support candidate can complete their employment screening call in their local language, then complete a role play interview in the language they’ll support customers in. A company based in Spain can run its entire interview process in Spanish.

How it works

When a role is created in Huminology, recruiters now enable supported interview languages.

Companies can personalize interviewer names based on language or preference—Katie, Olga, Hans or Fatima. Male and female voices are available in each language.

Candidates apply as usual. Those who meet qualifications for the role receive an SMS in their language, inviting them to interview.

Candidates reply naturally:

  • “Je peux parler à 18h00”
  • “غداً في الصباح أفضل”

At the scheduled time, candidates receive a call from Olga or Hans.

The interview itself follows a structured format with role-specific questions, follow-ups, and clarifications, conducted entirely in the candidate’s language.

Recruiters receive a structured, rubric-based evaluation and summary afterward.

From application to completion, the experience is local, and conversational, and consistent.

Built natively for local language use

Candidate UX is our top concern, as it is for companies using Huminology, which is why we've invested in localized voice models and phrasing patterns rather than generic translations. Each language experience is designed to be native, not translated.

To accomplish this, Huminology uses localized voice models and phrasing patterns so candidates hear a natural, conversational interviewer aligned with their language—not a generic synthetic voice translating from English.

This ensures the interaction feels natural in any supported language, while preserving the depth and structure of the underlying interview system.

Supported languages

In addition to English, Huminology currently supports multilingual interviews and SMS workflows in Arabic, Czech, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (both Brazilian and European variants), Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, and Turkish.

Try it or see it live

You can experience multilingual interviews directly through the “Talk to Katie” feature on our website. Katie will call you to learn about your hiring needs and suggest ways that Huminology can support your workflow. This discovery call is built on the same foundations as our candidate interviews and works in every language we support.

This announcement is made following Huminology showcasing multilingual interviews at HR Tech Europe in Amsterdam (April 22–23, 2026), where attendees experienced live interviews in the language most relevant to their business.
